Your 50 mpg IS sweet...I'm looking at 20 mpg on my mini-van...yikes. My next car will either be an Axon, or possibly an air car. Can't wait for the technology to get there!
How does Axon compare in price to Smart (relatively expensive when compared to a Toyota in the same class)? Both are incredibly cute. But neither (I suppose) can adapt to the needs of aging boomers, however. Check out http://www.fminow.com/
to convert cars into wheelchair accessibility. No, I don't need a mobility device yet but you'd better believe that as I get older, not only will gas costs factor into my my choice of automobiles but also the convenience as well.
