Even if wildfires are dampening Northern California shows (there has been a ban due to the breadth of the current fires and the very dry, dangerous conditions), you can get the lowdown (and a slide show!) of the best fireworks around from MSNBC.

Fun! Our local communities spread out their fireworks shows a bit so that people could go to more than one. Adjoining towns even planned theirs for nearby locations, but started 1/2 hour apart. Of course, we're flooded, not droughtridden.
