A refreshing view of 50 plus

A kindred spirit has published a book focused on the period between mid-life and retirement and the challenges and opportunities facing our Gen Plus demographic. Marc Freedman has released Encore: Finding Work that Matters in the Second Half of Life

Hi Wendy!

Thanks for the post on Marc Freedman’s book, “Encore: Finding Work that Matters in the Second Half of Life.” Though his excerpt doesn’t specifically say it, I can only imagine that an “encore career” will be built on an individual’s values, passion, and vision for the world. Fortunately, as the encore stories he provides suggest, we can get started on this kind of personal journey now!

While I certainly love the “own your life” aspect of these stories, I also value the element of “doing well by doing good”!
